The NEDA Region IV-A conducted two Project Development and Management trainings for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) involved in Bottom-Up-Budgeting on 15-17 February at the Emiramona Garden Hotel in Tagaytay City. The trainings were requested by DILG Region IV-A to enhance the capacities of CSOs in identifying and preparing proposals for Bottom-Up-Budgeting.
The NEDA staff, as resource persons, gave lectures on project proposal preparation and coached the participants in preparing logframes for their projects. Among the training outputs were project logframes on construction of day care centers, post-harvest support to farmers and fisherfolks, skills training for women, and small and medium enterprise development. The trainings which were simultaneously conducted for the CSOs of Atimonan, Quezon and Siniloan, Laguna, with 24 and 39 participants, respectively, were rated Very Good by the participants.
