RDC Calabarzon and NEDA Region IV-A receive  Regional Outstanding Partner Awards

The Regional Development Council (RDC) Calabarzon and NEDA Region IV-A were recognized during the 2016 Awards Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch for Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Stakeholders held on 2 August at the Days Hotel, Tagaytay City.

The RDC Calabarzon was recognized as the Outstanding Regional Partner in Implementing BSP Advocacy on the Conduct of Public Information Campaigns. RDC Vice Chairperson and NEDA Region IV-A Director, Luis G. Banua received the award.

The NEDA Region IV-A was awarded as an Outstanding Partner for Report on Regional Economic Developments of the Philippines. The award has been given to agencies for consistently providing timely and valuable information to the BSP’s annual Report on Regional Economic Development. The NEDA Region IV-A has been an awardee of the same award category for three consecutive years (2014 to 2016).

The awards were given by BSP Monetary Board Member Juan D. De Zuniga, Jr., Managing Director Monetary Policy Sub-Sector Francisco G. Dakila, Jr. and Regional Monetary Affairs Sub-Sector Iluminada T. Sicat.
