The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region IV-A is conducting an online business survey to assess the impacts of the novel corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) policy to different businesses in CALABARZON for the months of March to April. The survey results will be used in the preparation of an evidence-based and comprehensive national recovery plan as well as the Rehabilitation and Recovery Program (RRP) of the Region.

The online business survey is being conducted from May 4 to 7 to rapidly assess the nature of difficulties and extent of losses encountered by both large companies and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from the ECQ and COVID-19 pandemic. The survey will serve as critical inputs to come up with a better estimate of economic losses, and formulate appropriate and adequate interventions to restore business confidence and operations specific to the needs of each industry.

To come up with more reliable results, NEDA has pre-identified the survey respondents in the Region. NEDA has already reached out to the private sector representatives as well as other private sector contacts of the CALABARZON RDC to disseminate and complete the survey.
