Calabarzon RDC believes that attaining just and lasting peace is necessary to sustain socio-economic development. Hence, among the peace sustaining efforts of the region is a reintegration process for rebel returnees. This reintegration process was endorsed by the Sectoral Committee on Macroeconomy and Development Administration during its Third Quarter Meeting on August 9, 2018 in Batangas City.

The reintegration will ensure that government agencies will be present in all aspects of the process. This is another convergence effort of the RDC which includes the following five major steps: 1) assessment; 2) trainings; 3) employment and livelihood assistance; 4) monitoring; and 5) re-assessment. This will be a collaboration of the AFP, DSWD, DOH, TESDA, DepEd, CHED, HEIs, DENR, DA, DTI, DOST, DOLE, DILG, PNP and NEDA. This will harmonize all national government programs, such as the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program of the DILG and the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process.

Administrative Order No. 10 s. 2018 “Centralizing All Government Efforts for the Reintegration of Former Rebels and Creating for the Purpose an Inter-Agency Task Force” is now operational in Calabarzon.
