The CALABARZON Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) conducted a coaching session for the Local Project Monitoring Committees (LPMCs) via Zoom videoconference on March 2.  

The coaching session was conducted for the first time to enhance the capabilities of LPMCs,  particularly on the preparation of the documentary requirements for the 2021 Search for Outstanding Local Project Monitoring Committees . A total of 45 participants joined the activity comprised of LPMCs from the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon, cities of San Pablo and Tanauan, and municipalities of Carmona, Infanta, Jalajala and Mataasnakahoy.  

NEDA Region IV-A Director and RPMC Chairperson Luis Banua highlighted the important role of LPMC in improving and facilitating project implementation at the local level including bridging the gap among various project stakeholders.  

The Search for Outstanding Local Project Monitoring Committee is an annual activity of the RPMC since 2017 that aims to motivate and strengthen the LPMCs in the monitoring of development programs and projects in the region. The 2021 Seach was launched in February and awardees will be recognized during the 2nd quarter RDC meeting.
