The CALABARZON Regional Development Council (RDC), during its Third Quarter 2021 meeting on September 9 via video conference, adopted the Department of Education (DepEd) CALABARZON Enhanced Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) which aims to deliver learning opportunities to all Filipino learners for School Year (SY) 2021-2022 amidst the public health emergency.

DepEd CALABARZON calibrated the BE-LCP issued through DepEd Order No. 12 s. 2020 to capture changes and priorities in its implementation and came up with the Enhanced BE-LCP for SY 2021-2022.

The Enhanced BE-LCP will use the framework One Region, 21 Solutions which ensures learning continuity despite of public emergencies, and emphasizes the shared responsibility among all concerned agencies for safer schools and safer children. The Region and its 21 School Division Offices will be directed by five key dimensions namely, focus on learning, self-operation, well-being and protection, reaching the marginalized and education financing.

The nationwide opening of classes is set on September 13, 2021 and is scheduled to end on June 24, 2022.
