Mr. John Joseph Denoga of SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. together with NEDA Regional Office IV-A officials and staff as he delivers the results of his surveillance audit on November 19, 2021.

The National Economic and Development Authority Region (NEDA) Regional Office IV-A was recommended for continued ISO 9001:2015 Certification for its Quality Management System (QMS) after it successfully passed the Surveillance Audit conducted by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (SOCOTEC) on November 19, 2021.

This is NEDA Regional Office IV-A’s second time to be recommended for continued certification since its first certification and registration to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard on December 5, 2019.

This year’s Surveillance Audit was conducted remotely via videoconferencing. It covered the NEDA Regional Office IV-A’s key processes involving its four technical divisions and the support processes of Finance and Administrative Division. Also audited were processes involving the Control of Documented Information, Internal Audit, Management Review, and Top Management. Prior to the Surveillance Audit, two internal audits were conducted in April and October this year to determine the conformance and effectiveness of the processes in relation to the NEDA Region IV-A’s QMS, and implement corrective/ improvement measures as needed.

The NEDA Region IV-A’s efforts on sustaining its operations amidst the imposition of community quarantine due to the COVID-19 Pandemic were recognized following the SOCOTEC’s commendable findings on the office’s provision of necessary resources to the staff, Top Management’s continuous support to capability and capacity improvements and promotion of the well-being of staff even during the pandemic.
